You will learn and apply advanced styles and techniques in wedding, special event and sympathy design during the Advanced Design Program. Classical, traditional and contemporary styles will be analyzed and design mechanics will be demonstrated. Hands-on designing is a major element of the Program. All of your design work will be individually reviewed and discussed with you. You will need to bring floral design tools, a notebook and pen to class. All flowers, supplies and other materials are included in your tuition; there are no other fees. Design training or work experience is required to enroll in this Program. Enrollees should be graduates of the Cass School of Floral Design's Professional Florist Training Program, another professional training program or have worked in a flower shop. A certificate in Advanced Floral Design is presented upon successful competition of the Program.
